John Mayer has stolen the hearts of America with his sweet voice and emotional lyrics since his success in the early 2000’s. With some of his earliest hits like “Your Body Is a Wonderland” and “Why Georgia”, he has continued to release incredible music throughout the years. With 6 studio albums and a 7th in the making, titled The Search for Everything: Wave One, John Mayer has too many hits to count. Fan favourites include “Waiting on the World to Change”, “Gravity”, and “Daughters”. After taking a break from music for a few years, this is the first album to come from the singer-songwriter since his last album, Paradise Valley, which he released and toured in 2013.

Although he has released what seems to be a short album with the title “Wave One”, the best news is that we can all guess there will be a “Wave Two” (or we can hope!).

The track listing for The Search for Everything: Wave One, which shutterstock_252488086was released on January 20th, 2017 looks like this:

  • Moving On and Getting Over
  • Changing
  • Love on the Weekend
  • You’re Gonna Live Forever in Me

His first single release from the album was Love on the Weekend, which he released back in November. This song reminds us of a late afternoon drive on a Sunday, where the air is just warm enough to put down the windows and blast this song as you drive along.

John Mayer will tour his album this year throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, and the UK. The best part is, every ticket into a North American concert by the singer-songwriter includes a free copy of his latest album, The Search for Everything: Wave One. Since we don’t know when “wave two” will happen, this seems like a better time than any to snag a ticket to one of his incredible concerts. Some dates are already sold out because it’s no secret that John Mayer is a blessing to the musical world!

In early May, John Mayer will take his The Search for Everything Tour to Europe and the UK before returning back across the ocean to perform more shows in the United States! Locations for the first leg of his North American tour are already set, however only the dates and cities have been chosen for his second leg in the United States. Multiple shows will be played in big cities including Hollywood and Mountain View in California as well as two shows in Boulder, Boston, and Chicago. This means, you won’t have to miss out on his irresistible energy and one-of-a-kind voice because you’ve got two chances!
