Taylor Swift will release her brand new sixth studio album on November 10th. Titled “Reputation”, the singer-songwriter has released the album artwork alongside one single which will be released tomorrow on August 24th. No track listing for the album has yet been revealed alongside any other information on inspiration, direction, or style. I guess we will have to wait until tomorrow to piece together some of the puzzle!
Check out the album artwork below. The image is very different from anything Taylor Swift has produced in the past, and it appears that she may be in the process of rebranding herself. Just a few days ago, her social media accounts were completely wiped, throwing fans into a frenzy and wondering if the pop queen was disappearing from social platforms altogether. However, a few days later, she began posting images and videos of snakes, which is a dig back at those who have called her a snake in the past in regards to issues with ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris and performer Kanye West. Perhaps with the wiping of her social media accounts, Taylor Swift will use them to return with her new branding and styling. She has also posted droplets of information about Reputation on her Instagram account.
It doesn’t even seem like three years since Taylor Swift released her multi-hit album 1989. The album broke records across the board and was later followed by her sold out 1989 World Tour. Later on, the 2016 no.2 hit “I Don’t Want to Live Forever” featuring Zayn was the latest we had from the American country singer-songerwriter turned pop superstar.
Although there is no mention of it yet, fans are hoping for yet another world tour in 2018 from Taylor Swift. Stay tuned for more information on the upcoming Reputation album, as we hope a track list and tour dates are released in the coming weeks.
Until we have the brand new single out tomorrow, we will just have to settle for this gem:
