She first rose to fame when she appeared on the hit T.V. show America’s Got Talent, and after winning the eleventh season, Grace VanderWaal was awarded her own Vegas show. With her ukulele in hand, the incredibly talented now 13 year old is about to release her very first studio album. This album comes after the singer-songwriter released an EP last year called “Perfectly Imperfect”, which was released just three months after her big win.
Grace VanderWaal first appeared on the show last year in 2016 when she was just 12 years old, where judges immediately told her she would become famous and that she could even possibly be “the next Taylor Swift”. With high hopes for the young singer-songwriter, Grace VanderWaal continued to wow judges and audiences across the country from beginning to end until she finally won the season.
After precisely a year, Grace VanderWaal has now announced that she will release her very first studio album. Along with the news comes the release date of the album which will be November 3rd. The album will be titled “Just the Beginning” and the track list is currently unknown. We do however know the name of three songs which have been released as singles including: “Moonlight”, “Sick of Being Told”, and “So Much More than This”. Furthermore, Grace released the album artwork which you can check out here:
Grace VanderWaal took to her Instagram page to tell her 1.8 million fans that “A year ago today, a miracle happened and I won AGT. It’s been the most insane year and it’s all brought me here… I can FINALLY tell you guys that my album #JustTheBeginning comes out 11/3! It goes up for pre-order with a brand new song tomorrow 💕 I’ll be hosting a special live stream party with AGT on my Facebook page tomorrow at 6pm ET and hope you’ll watch and celebrate with me”
Since the singer-songwriter and ukulele player won AGT, she signed onto a recording deal with Simon Cowell’s Syco Music record label as well as Columbia Records. The debut album “Just the Beginning” will be released through these labels. Her sound this time around has definitely matured, however she still has her quirkiness and stays true to who she is as an artist. Stay tuned for any further information released from the album including a track list and we will update you here!
